Privy 5 Overview

Share |

Myeongdong Gyoja, located of course in Myeong-dong, has been serving their famous kalguksu or knife-cut noodle soup for the past forty years. The busy bi-level restaurant is so in demand that fifty people are in cue to order their food on both floors! They have been so much in demand that they even opened a restaurant branch in Los Angeles, California. The Myeongdong Gyoja kalguksu noodle dish has generous portions of tender beef and chicken broth topped with zucchini, ground beef, pork mandu and chives. Ginger, garlic and onion sauce are served on the side for added flavoring. The already enormous serving of the noodle dish includes free bowl refills. Kongguksu, jjolmyeon, bibimguksu and pork mandu are also house specialties. The year aged kimchi is their very potent special side dish. If you're wondering what the free chewing gum at the order counter is for it's because you are definitely going to need it after that kimchi and the filling noodle experience at Myeongdong Gyoja.
