The Marquis Thermal Spa and its Fitness Club located at the basement of the JW Marriott Hotel in the Seocho District of Seoul provides soothing natural and organic anti-aging and relaxing treatments with the use of the skincare line of Comfort Zone from Italy aside from the usual types of massages and pampering rituals. They even offer lessons in the art of massage if one wants to master the craft. The Spa has an adjoining gym that has its own olympic-sized swimming pool, a scuba diving tank, an indoor track, golfing ranges, and a wall climbing facility for the sporty clientele. The Marquis Spa has a holistic approach in providing relaxation focusing on relieving stress from the mind body and spirit. There are many packages to choose from like the flight reviver which is aimed to relax and recharge people who often travel; the marine body scrub plus hydro bath which involves almost an hour of exfoliating and soothing bath to revitalize the skin; and the Wraptuous Float treatment where one is wrapped like a cocoon while dry water re-hydrates the body. The reflexology session that detoxifies while calming the body and aromatherapy back neck and shoulder massage using fragrant essential oils are also most recommended to relieve muscle stress and tension. The Body Glow therapy, Seaweed Body Wrap, and the Hydrotherapy Bath are focused on removing dead skin cells, toning muscles and making skin supple and radiant. With the three floors of the Marquis Spa managed by Robert Lorhmann at the JW Marriot Hotel that is dedicated to pampering and reviving the body, mind and spirit, it is said that the JW is a hotel built around the enormous and lavish spa.
