Privy 5 Overview

Share |

M on the Bund, owned by restaurateur Michelle Garnaut, was the first internationally acclaimed dining venue in Shanghai. They opened their doors in 1999 on the peak of the seven-story historic Nissin shipping building that was built in the 1920’s. The fact that they are still up and in good running says a lot about the food and the service that they offer here and in all M restaurant group locations in Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Numerous royal personalities, tycoons, politicians, sports fashion and acting celebrities have dined and enjoyed their experience at the famous restaurant. Choose from contemporary Middle Eastern, North African, and European dishes. Chef Hamish Pollitt creates a three course lunch menu that features fresh and in-season ingredients each month that keeps the clientele coming back for more. Signature dishes like the M house salad, Suckling Pig, slowly baked leg of lamb, and M’s famous Pavlova dessert are served all year round. Apart from the scrumptious food and the elegant restaurant decor, you can also feast your eyes on the wonderful view of the river, the Bund and the skyscrapers of Pudong.
