M on the Bund, owned by restaurateur Michelle Garnaut, was the first internationally acclaimed dining venue in Shanghai. They opened their doors in 1999 on the peak of the seven-story historic Nissin shipping building that was built in the 1920’s. The fact that they are still up and in good running says a lot about the food and the service that they offer here and in all M restaurant group locations in Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Choose from contemporary Middle Eastern, North African, and European dishes. Chef Hamish Pollitt creates a three course lunch menu that features fresh and in-season ingredients each month that keeps the clientele coming back for more.
