Privy 5 Overview

Share |

Absolutely the place to be if you're out for quality Mexican food in Shanghai. A relative newcomer to the Mexican restaurant scene, Mi Tierra is not shy about laying claim to the title of Shanghai's best Mexican restaurant. Housed in a three-story renovated villa mansion from 1920, Mi Tierra is run on the simple premise of providing family oriented good ol' fashioned delicious Mexican fare. While the cuisine is not trying to re-invent the wheel when it comes to Mexican food, Mi Tierra does provide a menu filled with classics done well. What originally began as a Mexican frozen food company, the restaurant branches into new terrain with traditional dishes such as tacos and other comfort food to create an authentic experience you'll be hard-pressed to duplicate at other Mexican restaurants in Shanghai. Plus, as a restaurant within a villa, the space is ideal for parties or large gatherings especially with the quality cocktails, including magaritas, on hand. With an impressive and traditional atmosphere that even includes live music, coupled with great food, Mi Tierra is not to be missed.
