Privy 5 Overview

Share |

Muted lighting and woody tones make an intimate environment in this hotel restaurant. The Old World meets New in terms of décor, and the cuisine here could be described in the same fashion. The contemporary twist on traditional Chinese cuisine may be getting old by now, but it’s done here with creativity and flair. Shark’s fin and bird’s nest soups are both standards on the menu. However, you certainly get what you pay for in terms of both food quality and service. Take for example just one appetizer, the Crispy Suckling Pig with Goose Liver and Tomato. With its toast base and three layers stacked atop, it’s a great mix of flavor and texture. There are far healthier dishes available too – it’s not all pork crackling. A great range of choice means that you can enjoy dishes from many Chinese regions, as well as dim sum. The restaurant also has four private dining rooms to cater for parties.
