This new and elegant restaurant venue in the Okura Garden Hotel provides a great range of Japanese dishes at great prices. Reds, blacks and white, with lighting that is bright without being garish, all make for an interesting environment for you and friends to enjoy a meal. Or, if you prefer private dining, Yamazato has a number of private rooms with distinct Japanese style. For starters there’s an extensive sushi menu. Among the highlights at this restaurant is the salmon roll which is fantastic. The kaiseki, tempura, etc. are both aesthetically arresting as well as delicious. The tempura shrimp roll is especially meaty and tasty. For alternatives, you can try the side salads or fruit. While sushi definitely comes first, there’s an eclectic “mix” of food at this restaurant and definitely all worth trying.
