Interesting NY Times article about how the increase of transpacific Asian immigrants in the United States are changing the equation for love among Asian Americans.
While the percentage of Asian Americans who married someone outside of their race dipped between 2008 and 2010, the matches between American-born and foreign-born jumped by more than 21 percent. This last statistic is something I personally contributed to when I married my wife (whom I lovingly call a “FOB”) in 2010.
With this growing surge of Asian immigrants coming to the US and also the reverse trend of Asian Americans moving to Asia — do you think the dynamics of Asian American dating has changed?
