Of course it takes an Hollywood outsider like Bill Simmons – a sports journalists who tweets as @sportsguy33 – to break it down in such a detailed and convincing manner. In discussing the relative star power of actors like Ryan Reynolds, Jim Carrey and Will Smith, he applies the same kind of analysis as he might when breaking down why the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA crown and why the Heat, Laker and Celtic didn’t. Having worked with Carrey and Smith, I was curious to find out what the article had to say. I’m a huge fan of Bill Simmons and think he’s the smartest guy in sports.
