Privy 5 Overview
This newcomer to the Bay Area restaurant scene, Commonwealth is easily and already one of the best restaurants in San Francisco. From the culinary genius of chef Jason Fox, Commonwealth is guaranteed to wow you especially with the $60 tasting menu. The famous complimentary housemade chips with nori and malt vinegar are nearly impossible to stop eating. The Potato Gnocchi is delicious with truffle oil. Other highlights include the White Russian, Cinnamon Mille-Feuille, Cardamom Marshmallow, Chocolate Ganache, and Burnt Honey Ice Cream or S'mores in layman terms but delicious no matter how you say it. Plus, as an added bonus, parts of the profits made from the tasting menus are donated to charitable causes. It's a win-win situation at Commonwealth.
