Privy 5 Overview
The dishes here are herbal stews designed to enhance the body and mind. Traditional Chinese herbal therapy is employed. The food doesn’t taste bitter either, which is always a concern when Chinese herbs are involved. Yam in orange sauce and tomato with bistro concoctions and lily taro mousse are just three of the lovely starters. Herbs and fruits such as gingko and red dates are employed with culinary expertise to make up a rich and varied menu. Duck items featured include aromatic with pancakes and salad and a quick-fried roast duck slice with lettuce. Try a shaved ice dessert which is also very nice. Décor is Zen like, with calligraphy and artwork to boot, and the service is more than adequate. Plus, it’s much tastier than a trip to the doctor!
