Privy 5 Los Angeles Harry Shum Jr.
Actor
Newcomer Harry Shum Jr. can currently be seen as one of the stars of the mega hit series of “Glee!” -- Winner of both Golden Globe and SAG Awards in 2010. In addition to “Glee,” Harry recently reprised his character of tech guru “Cable” for the third installment of the Step Up series, Step Up 3D. In addition to his acting, Harry is starring in and associate producer/co-choreographer of The LXD (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers) -- a new online dance adventure created by director Jon M. Chu (STEP UP 3D).
When Harry isn’t acting, he is also a nationally renowned dance teacher. In 2006, Harry created his own production company alongside Shayna Gianelli called SHmaSH Productions. Harry also co-produced the biggest online dance battle between Miley Cyrus (M&M Cru), Jon M. Chu and Adam Sevani (ACDC), which has garnered over 20 million hits on YouTube featuring the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Chris Brown, and Adam Sandler. This led Harry to choreograph and produce the dance battle segment for the Teen Choice Awards, opening for “Ellen’s Even Bigger Really Big Show” and “You Tube Live with Jon M. Chu’s Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.”
Besides acting and dancing, Harry LOVES to eat! So much so that his friends have nicknamed him “Foodie…” because he is always trying new foods and always picking weird and exotic restaurants to explore.
Harry Shum Jr. currently resides in Los Angeles.
